Itinerary

Days 1-2 Accra/Rural Project

Start the day with a group meeting in the vibrant town of Accra before heading off to your new rural home. Explore the village, get to know the people you'll be working alongside and check out the school and buildling site.

Days 3-13 Teaching and Building

You'll soon be settled into your daily routine of building and teaching. There's also plenty of time to join the adults in their cooperative groups, teaching them English or learning traditional dances and weaving. Celebrate a successful first week with a trip to the beach or Accra for a weekend of well earned rest. Then throw yourself back into art classes, building or playing sports with your new local friends (adults and children alike). As the fortnight progresses you'll really feel a part of the community.

Day 14 Accra

Sadly, it's time to return to Accra. Celebrate a fantastic two weeks with a sense of pride in your building and teaching work and new found friendships, with your team and community, that will last long past your time in Ghana.
