Itinerary
Day 1 Quito
You'll be met at the airport and driven to your Quito hotel.Day 2 Quito/Isabela Island
You'll have an early flight from Quito to Baltra Island on the Galapagos Archipelago. After arriving in Baltra, you'll have a short flight to Isabela Island and then head to your hotel. You'll have a chance to freshen up before your tour to the Flamingo Lagoon. The largest coastal lagoon in Galapagos, this is a principal breeding ground for flamingos.Day 3 Isabela Island
You'll have an early morning start for a tour to the Sierra Negra Volcano. This is the World's second largest volcanic crater (measuring nearly 10 kilometres across and 300 feet deep!) Your tour will include a horseback ride to the top for some unique photo opportunities. Later in the day, you'll head back to the hotel and have an opportunity to go kayaking or snorkelling nearby.Day 4 Isabela Island
This morning you'll have a tour of the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre, an impressive lava-rock wall, a lava tunnel and a second flamingo lagoon before returning to the hotel. After lunch and a chance to relax, head off to a clear area of the ocean, popular with snoozy white-tipped sharks. Then it's off to a splendid snorkelling spot where you're likely to swim with sea lions, marine iguanas and many tropical fish.Day 5 Isabela Island/Santa Cruz
Head off early this morning by speedboat - you'll check into your Puerto Ayora hotel on arrival. Afterwards, head off to the Santa Cruz highlands, where the giant turtles live in their natural habitat. After lunch, go to the Charles Darwin Research Centre for a chance to meet the most famous inhabitant, Lonesome George!Day 6 Santa Cruz/Quito
Today you'll head back to Quito, but en route you'll make a final stop at a unique pair of fascinating craters dubbed "the Twins". On arrival in Quito you'll be met at the airport and taken to your hotel.Day 7 Quito
