Fiji (MAD) Sport Project - 14 days
Join a group of like-minded volunteers to experience and contribute to daily life using the universal language of sport. When booking your trip, choose between rugby, netball, soccer, swimming or tennis coaching and take your passion for the sport to children and adults in schools and clubs at all levels. Based in Lautoka, this 14 day project is extremely rewarding and your knowledge, enthusiasm and skill can make a real difference to hundreds of people who may never have had any sports coaching in their lives. As well as coaching sessions you will also have the opportunity to train with local teams and clubs to improve you own skills and really get involved with the local community. After a hard week?s coaching Fiji you can chill out in the sea or relax on the beach in this beautiful and friendly island archipelago.

Itinerary
Day 1 Nadi/Lautoka
After a group meeting in Nadi, head to Latouka, where you will be based for the next 2 weeks. Your accommodation is in a shared house and you'll share single sex dormitory style rooms with your fellow volunteers. There's also a pool and garden relax in outside of coaching hours.Day 2 Lautoka
Have an easy start to the day before heading out to explore the town at your own pace. You might want to see the areas you'll be coaching in or check out the shops and meet a few of the locals.Days 3-13 Coaching
Enjoy the daily routine of coaching as you get to know the town, the locals and your fellow team members. Outside of coaching you'll have time to explore nearby sights, head to the beach or relax in the pool.Day 14 Nadi
Bid farewell to your Fijian home and new friends before heading back to Nadi.Trip Details

| Accommodation | Mulltishare house (14nts)Accommodation is in a shared house with your group and leader in single sex dormitory style bunk bed rooms with upto 6 people sharing per room. There is plenty of communal space and living areas to relax in as well as a small outdoor pool and gardens. The house is fully equipped with running water, flushing toilets and electricity, (subject to local supply shortages and power-cuts) as well as land-line phone and internet connection. The house is located in a nice suburb of Lautoka a short walk or cheap taxi ride from the centre of town. |
