Vietnam (MAD) Project - 14 days
Join a group of like-minded volunteers to experience and contribute to daily life. Located in the Moc Chau district you'll be living in a village high in the mountains of north-west Vietnam. The 3 villages of Moc Chau town are undertaking Community-Based Eco-Tourism activities, including agro-tourism development. Split your time between a building project and teaching at a local school. Working alongside local builders, staying in the community and spending time with the kids, you'll become an essential part of the community. This 14 day project will tackle needs that have been identified by your host community to ensure that your financial and physical investment is sustainable long into the future. Itinerary
Day 1 Hanoi/Rural Project
Asia meets Europe in Hanoi where your adventure begins. After a group meeting with your leader its off to the Moc Chau high in the mountains. Arriving at the village you'll be divided into pairs to stay with a local family. Your accommodation will be basic and you'll really be living as the locals do.Day 2 Village
Explore the village, visit the building site and see the school where you will be teaching and meet some of the people you will be working alongside.Days 3-13 Teaching and Building
Before long you will have settled into daily village life as you split your time between building and teaching. You'll also have free time during the day to explore the area, get to know your host family and play football with the kids!Day 14 Hanoi
Celebrate your project work and new friendships before returning to Hanoi.Trip Details
