Itinerary

Day 1 Lima

Walk around Plaza Mayor, the historic heart of the city, and maybe visit the famous catacombs.

Days 2-4 Puno/Lake Titicaca

Enjoy a night at a homestay on one of Lake Titicaca's islands.

Day 5 Cuzco

Travel across the spectacular altiplano to the historic Inca capital.

Day 6 Sacred Valley/Ollantaytambo

Spot leaping llamas and brightly dressed locals on the journey through the Sacred Valley. Gaze out over the maize crops covering the terraces carved into the valley walls.

Days 7-10 Inca Trail/Machu Picchu

Trek the ancient route to the 'lost Inca city'.

Day 11 Cuzco

Rest tired legs at a cafe on Plaza de Armas and enjoy free time exploring Cuzco's sights.

Days 12-14 Amazon Jungle/Lima

Alive with lush vegetation and exotic creatures, the Amazon is one of the wildest places on Earth.

Day 15 Quito

Head to the Old Town and stroll amid churches and historic buildings.

Days 16-17 San Cristobal

Admire the famous Galapagos wildlife at Bachas Beach.

Day 18 Floreana

Cruise to Santa Fe, a tiny island crawling with land iguanas, cacti and sea birds.

Days 19-20 Isabela

Chill out on Gardner Bay's white beaches, watching sea lions play in the turquoise waters.

Day 21 Santa Cruz

Learn about the local mangrove trees and hike through a forest of pear cacti.

Day 22 Santa Fe/San Cristobal

Meet giant tortoises at the Charles Darwin Research Station, then head inland to explore the highlands.

Day 23-24 Quito

Observe colonies of red-footed and masked boobies then strap on a snorkel and explore an exotic underwater world.
