Link three of China's greatest cities with a journey that takes us to grottoes, gardens, temples, and tombs. Cruise along the Yangtze River and walk along the spectacular Dragons Backbone Rice Terraces.We start in Beijing with a walk along the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu, then we see Tiananmen Square and the centuries old buildings of the Forbidden City. We visit the Iron Pagoda and Dragon Pavilion in Kaifeng, the Shaolin Temple and Pagoda Forest, before exploring the caves and shrines of the Longmen Grottoes at Luoyang. Then we continue to Xi'an where we visit the awesome Terracotta Army. In Shanghai take a city tour that visits the Jade Buddha Temple and Yu Gardens, and then hop on a flight to Kunming to visit the eerie Stone Forest. Trek for three days through the Tiger Leaping Gorge, an essential experience in northern Yunnan province and spend time walking on the Dragons Backbone Rice Terraces near Longsheng before ending your tour in Hong Kong.
