Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi

Old Delhi pulses with the energy and colour of lively markets and is laced by a maze of narrow alleys. These are the best places to experience the sights, sounds and smells of India. Visit the famous Red Fort, built by the Emperor Shah Jehan.

Days 2-3 Agra

In contrast to Old Delhi, New Delhi stands in formal splendour, a city of wide boulevards and spacious parks. The Taj Mahal is truly one of the wonders of the world.

Days 4-5 Jaipur

Tour the magnificent deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri on the way to Jaipur. Visit Amber Fort, stunningly situated on a hilltop and see the pink, delicately honeycombed sandstone windows of the Palace of the Winds and the Observatory.

Days 6-7 Delhi

Visit Samode, a small village famous for its havelis and forts, on the way back to Dehli. Time for some last minute shopping before departure.
