Nottingham East Midlands (EMA) Airport Parking

Save yourself from one more travel headache by reserving airport parking at East Midlands Airport (airport code EMA) before your next flight.

If you knew there was one easy thing you could do before your next trip to the airport that would save you from loads of stress, you would do it. That is why you should book a space with East Midlands airport parking before you even pack a single bag - it means you do not have to circle the airport parking lot searching for one vacant spot when you are already running late. The online booking system is easy and fast, and can even save you money over the lot's drive-in rate. So do yourself a favor and reserve a parking space at East Midlands Airport before your next trip.

There are two East Midlands airport parking lots to choose from. "Prestige" is on-airport and is only a short walk from the terminal. "Airparks" is off-airport, but the lot has a transfer shuttle to get you from your car to the terminal.

Save yourself from enduring another travel headache - reserve a spot with East Midlands airport parking today.

Some information about East Midlands Airport:

  • East Midlands Airport is between the cities of Derby, Leicester, and Nottingham, all of which are 20 miles or less from the airport.
  • The airport has both regular scheduled flights on commercial airlines and a number of charter airlines as well. Ryanair, easyJet and bmibaby are the airport's hub airlines, and serve the most destinations from the East Midlands airport.
  • Because people outside the UK have trouble placing East Midlands Airport on a map (they have no idea where the "East Midlands" are), the airport's name was changed for a short time to include Nottingham in the name - even though the airport is actually closest to Derby. The name was changed again in 2006 to the airport's current official name: East Midlands Airport: Nottingham, Leicester, Derby (although everyone still refers to it as simply East Midlands Airport).
  • For traffic information, see the Frixo site here.

Alternative ways to get to East Midlands Airport:

  • Taxi: Checker Cars is the airport's official taxi company and taxis are available near the airport's information desk 24 hours a day. The approximate fares between the airport and area cities are: Loughborough £19, Derby £26, Nottingham £28, Leicester £37, Birmingham £78, Sheffield £85.
  • Rail: There is no rail station at the airport, but the stations in Loughborough, Nottingham and Derby are all linked by bus to the terminal.
  • Bus/Shuttle: There are Skylink buses which run from Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and Loughborough. Schedules vary from city to city.
