In a town that prides itself on the cost and quality of its accommodations you would rightfully assume that hostels exist as something of a novelty and a cottage industry in the community. If you are living long term (Visa, U.S. Passport holder, etc.) in the U.S. you’ll pay a $100 deposit.

VBH accepts cash or credit. You must use one or the other for all transactions (all cash for room AND deposit, or ALL credit for room AND deposit). Credit Cards accepted are: VISA, MC, and AMEX.
Accommodations include: Kitchen, Pool, TV Room, and On-site Laundry Facility
VBH is within walking distance of the beach, and many excellent and inexpensive restaurants, cafes, galleries, shops, etc. VBH is 15 minutes from LAX and is close to several Metro Bus lines as well as the Santa Monica Blue Bus System.
