If you’re planning on staying in town for any length of time this is probably one of your best bets in terms comfort and affordability. A great location that’s only one block off the Olas Atlas beach, yet still in a nice quiet part of town. Of the five beaches in town this one has the highest waves if that sort of thing blows your skirt up.
The Pacific Café is right next door. There’s plenty of reasturarants nearby and several museums. The Angela Peralta Theatre and the Sinaloense are also right there in your neighborhood and you’re just down the street from the point where local cliff divers drag their obviously oversized gonads up a 75 foot rock pinnacle and dive into the incoming waves.
They have three apartments for rent here. There’s a two bedroom with kitchen, living room and bathroom. You get cable T.V., air conditioning, and daily maid service. All have access to a phone and laundry service. This one is $600.00 a month, but if there’s two of ya’s that’s ten bucks each a day.

There’s a one bedroom with king size bed and all the amenities for $425.00, about 14 bucks a day. The small one has a queen size bed and all the above at $400.00, or about 13 bucks a day. All of these have a private entrance and private bath.
Josefina will also rent these on a day or week basis if available. I’m not the only guy that knows about this so it’s wise to book ahead if you can. But always worth a drop-in.
This beats the shit out of a hotel and it is NOT some flop house. It’s clean, safe and run by some really nice, helpful people.

Ya know, I don’t wanna come off like some travel agent pushing these places but if ya don’t know about them you won’t find them. Also this is a family run place so no hangin’ from the chandelier.

A couple of years ago I stayed here for $250.00 for the month but a Mexican friend of mine knew the owners and passed me off as his cousin. You’ll have to cut your own deal. They’ll do them by the day or week as well. I had a one bedroom with living room, kitchen and bathroom. This place had a balcony that overlooked the action and I had a ball there.
It’s on Av. Canaron Sabalos right across the street from the Cyber Café and Dominos Pizza. You’re two blocks off the Zone so the place gets a little crazy. Basically, as long as you don’t bust the place up you can do whatever you figure you’re big enough to get away with.
I also have a huge database ranging from Hotels, Condos, B&B’s, even private homes. Feel free to contact me.
