Soul Surfer in Europe #2: Amsterdamned!!
Tuesday, May 16th
Well folks, here is my first update sorry its been a while!
I am staying in Bob’s youth hostel right now, but tonight I’m going to be camping with two girls from Nebraska in the countryside.
Well let’s see, what have I seen?
I have been to the Van Gogh museum, Anne Frank’s house, and Rembrandts museum….I also have been to a few sex museums and a marijuana museum…..can’t wait to show you all the pictures from it!!!!
Man, this place is soooo lax and everyone speaks English! Another thing that is very nice is that it is hard to spend money here!!!!
I got a rare photograph of a prostitute standing in her window…it’s forbidden to take photos of them but I accomplished the big task ! I have been to a few coffeeshops here too. When you’re walking down the street or sitting in the park, all you can smell is ganja
but the funny thing is the streets are totally safe around the clock here. Oh yeah, they are having 18 hour days right now as the sun doesn’t set till almost 11pm!!!!
I went to a nightclub last Friday and Saturday called the “Mazzo”. I had to pay 6 guilders Friday but somehow I ended up on the VIP list….so now I don’t pay, I just walk in!
I finally got to meet Dana who I have been talking to on ICQ for quite some time….she took me to dinner last night and we walked through town…she is such a sweet girl. Oh, and guys, the women here are AWESOME!!!! They are all tall and thin and blonde!!!! and they love little American guys like me
Well what else?….hmmm do I miss the States?…HELL NO!!!!
A little history lesson before I sign off….New York used to be called New Amsterdam because the Dutch use to own it.
Redlight district details next update…stay tuned for some crazy stories about two guys from Florida who I followed around and watched them blow money on Polish whores!!!!!
