Boatgirl #14: Bio – Who Is Louise Douglas?

Bio
Who Is Louise Douglas?

Speaking of photos, when not playing bass and racing cars, Louise Douglas is also known to hop on the ol’ mechanical bull now and again.

I was born in London, and grew up there and in Los Angeles. I went to school in Santa Cruz, California and at the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts. I’ve travelled in India (I have family there) and I’ve been to Japan, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.

I speak a little French and Italian, and a few words of Spanish and Hindi. I’ve been working as a film editor, unfortunately not as often as I would like, so I’m hoping to go to grad school for writing in the fall.

I’m known for taking embarrassing pictures of people, usually after I’ve encouraged them to drink too much. I also like driving race cars and playing bass for my band.
