Travel Writer Brad Newsham visits BootsnAll HQ

Sunday October 15, 2000 – Author Brad Newsham visited us while on his US tour to promote his new book Take Me With You.

Brad stopped by for an hour or so in the morning and we shared a cup of coffee and swapped travel stories. It was great to listen to him speak of the the idea for the book he thought up over 10 years ago. It’s easy to see he loves travelling and combined that with a very unique mission that became this book. He went on an around the world trip, which in and of itself is no big deal these days, but he decided that he would choose one person from all the people he met on his journey and invite them to return to the United States with him for a month.

The cast of characters he meets throughout the book is awesome…and the reader is kept guessing as to whom Brad will eventually choose.

It was fantastic to meet Brad and we really appreciate him taking time out of his busy schedule to come and say g’day. He signed our copy of his book and we sent him off with a couple of bottles of our latest batch of Boot Brew.

Brad lives in the Bay Area and when he’s not travelling, he drives a taxi in San Francisco. So if you ever catch a cab in San Fran, you might see a familiar face.
