A great place to vist for all ages. I remember going to this wildlife park a number of times in my childhood as well as a number of others. It has changed a lot since I’ve been, though. A good thing of course! If you love animals then this is the place to be!

Willowbank Wildlife Reserve
Now this is one place I’ve always loved going to as a child, I’m sure you’ll agree once you’ve been there yourself. You also get to feed the animals and birds! Mind you, you have to pay for a bag but it’s still fun.

Willowbank is located just 5 minutes from Christchurch International Airport and 20 minutes from the central city. Willowbank provides convenient access when either arriving or departing from Christchurch Airport.

Best Attractions Direct Double Decker
A convenient way of getting to and from Willowbank is the Best Attractions Direct Double Decker. This service continuously links Willowbank with other Christchurch Attractions, including the International Antarctic Centre, Christchurch Tramway and Christchurch Gondola, throughout the day. The Double Decker departs from Cathedral Square and tickets are available from the driver or the Christchurch and Canterbury Visitor Centre.

The Double Decker arrives/departs Willowbank throughout the day at 11.00am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 4.00pm and 5.30pm.

Senior citizens and students with identification $14
Groups of 10 or more, discounts on inquiry.

Times:
Open daily 10am – 10pm
Guided tours leave at 11.30am, 2.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm.
Kiwi are able to be viewed from 11am until closing.
