Victoria Festial of Wine, Music and Food – Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
This unique wine festival offers couples more than just beverage to stimulate the senses. There are multiple locations, times and prices for 15 events featuring 100 wineries from BC, Washington State and Australia held over a four-day weekend.
Highlights of the festival include: a glass blowing demonstration of handmade decanters and exhibit of eight different artists’ work, a tutorial tasting of local wines from the Saanich Peninsula, Cowichan Valley and Gulf Islands, a five-course dinner prepared by the Island Chef’s Collaborative Gala with local Bossa Nova sensation Sara Marreiros to set the mood and the Restaurant Showcase; a brunch-time sampling feast created by Victoria’s top 20 restaurants and the region’s best wineries and micro-breweries while jazz musicians serenade.
