Places to Drink in Ashland

Black Sheep

51 N. Main St. (on the Plaza)

+1 (541) 482 6414

The comfortable, low-light atmosphere of the Black Sheep is conducive to a relaxed evening with a few friends. The bar itself is relatively small, so patrons scatter around the many tables or sofas and even the stone hearth.

This is the place to go for Guinness on tap or a black and tan. In addition to a full menu the Black Sheep serves tasty English pub food.

On Wednesday nights the weekly dart tournament begins at 7:30pm, and on Sunday afternoons live Celtic music is played from 2-5pm.

Ashland Creek Bar and Grill

92½ N. Main St. Ashland

+1 (541) 482 4131

A dozen beers on tap and endless outdoor seating make "The Creek" an essential summertime hangout. Happy hour is from 4-6pm, Monday-Friday. Open-Mike Thursdays 10pm, Grateful Dead night is Monday 9pm, and live music plays Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Open from 11am everyday.

Vinyl Club

130 Will Dodge Way (in the alley)

+1 (541) 488 1690

Located in the alleyway behind Main Street, the Vinyl Club is one of Ashland's hippest hideaways. The funky colored interior, low ceilings and retro-techno look give one the feeling of being in a very weird cave. The atmosphere promotes dancing, and on Friday nights the club pays tribute to the 80s. Yes, on purpose. Their alcoholic claim to fame is the vodka Jell-O shot.
