Tips for Visiting
When to go: Summers can be sweltering, and March/April is packed with college (and some high school!) spring breakers, while winter brings in the snowbirds. Fall will get you nice weather, less crowds and more room to relax.
City Specific Events: Acapulco has a range of events throughout the year. During September, Acapulco celebrates its Independence Day and during October the anniversary of the state of is commemorated within the city. There are also music and film festivals happening during May, June and November.
How to get around?: Most students are big on the staggering home drunk thing, or taxis.
