Tips for Visiting

When to go: February is a good time to sneak in if you can. There is great beach weather, and it’s past the hectic month of January, although anytime from December to March will get warmer temperatures.

City Specific Events: Summer is the best time to catch festivals of the musical, cultural and sport nature.

How to get around?: Bus, rail and ferries will get you around, but it’s nice to have a car too.

Good to know: Auckland is New Zealand’s largest city, however, it is NOT its capital.

Cheapest airport to fly into: Auckland Airport can offer your cheaper flights to/from Auckland.
