Christchurch,

a city of some 300,000 people, has been called the most

English city outside of England and has a wealth of beautiful

old buildings and wonderful parks. The people are friendly

and Christchurch remains one of the world's few remaining

old-style safe cities.



The climate in Christchuch is mild (summer 18-25 C and

winter 8-15 C). The winter can bring snow on the mountains

and brilliant skifields are within easy reach of the city.
