When to go: Avoid the summer months at all costs. Spring or fall has bearable weather, although that could be an understatement.

Specific Events/Holidays: Kuwait is an Islamic country so many of their holidays change from year to year. Like other countries in the region, the biggest events are both Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr. Kuwaitis also celebrate Liberation Day on February 26.

Getting Around: Renting a vehicle in Kuwait is an extremely affordable option, but check fuel prices in advance. Otherwise buses and taxis can take you about anywhere in the country. Negotiate your price first.
