For a girl who loathes being in a moving vehicle (not moving is ok) for more than half an hour, she sure gets around.

Christine was born in New York City and moved to every corner of the US before settling down in Seattle, Washington at the age of five. Her childhood vacations include the Chinatowns of Miami, San Franciso, LA, Portland, and New York. She can also boast of having been to Disney World over 15 times. She first fell in love with international travel on a symphony tour during which she played her viola in Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. In hopes of doing the “find yourself thing”, she backpacked Europe for a month with an ex-boyfriend and good buddy when she was 19. Two weeks after returning, she grudgingly got on a plane again and toured China with her mother. Her next trip will hopefully involve environmental restoration in the rainforest.

Academically, Christine can be described as a hard working flake. She is currently a junior at the University of Washington. She changes her career objective every six months and has dabbled in five majors and four minors before deciding on English and Environmental Studies. Don’t be mistaken – she throws herself into whatever she does…the things themselves just don’t last very long.

She enjoys riding her bike, environmental activism, bible study, opera, whining about her waitress job, and having her cat step on her face in the middle of the night.
