My parents cultivated my love for travel at a young age, as my dad was a nomad during his 20s, spending nearly 4 years living in Africa and always regaled the rest of the family with countless stories and adventures from his traveling days. I am currently a senior at the University of Washington, majoring in Creative Writing with a minor in International Studies. My favorite part about being abroad in South Africa was the locals’ love for chocolate milkshakes and disdain for punctuality. I am currently dabbling in photography, I enjoy a good cup of English tea, and the only cookbook I own is “A Man, A Can and A Plan.”
