Well, you are more of a show off with a malfunctioning nose than a seasoned traveler who can share some useful information with others. By the way – it is stupid to be wearing a sweater in tropical Sri Lanka unless you are in Nuwaraeliya where it gets cold in the morning and in the night because of its location high up in the mountains. You could have asked the driver to reduce the AC – you don’t need to be having a very high IQ to figure out something as simple as that! “The food can kill” – that again is your personal opinion – may be you tried only spicy food at the cheapest restaurants – however – you cannot say it with absolute certainty others share your opinion – because a lot of folks from the west like Sri Lankan cuisine. And yeah – if no one took any notice of you even when you were swimming in your undies – may be you are sagging from all over the place – there is no reason why the locals should propose to you – unless that is all your ego driven imagination.
