The Willamette Valley is home to some of the most popular wineries in the state of Oregon and the Great Northwest. The summer sunshine, coastal breezes and cooler climate allow for a gradual ripening process for wine grapes, thus allowing the fruit to be flavorful and aromatic.

Located just northwest of Eugene, this modest family-owned vineyard produces small lots of domestic wines aged for excellence in French oak barrels. These wines include Oregon favorites such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Visitors are always welcome to visit by appointment and on lengthy holiday weekends such as Memorial weekend and Thanksgiving, where wine sampling is made available.

Hinman Vineyards is one of Oregon’s largest leading wineries. Located 30 minutes between Eugene and the coast, the winery produces eight richly distinct wines while also maintaining a reserve line, Silvan Ridge. Silvan Ridge offers award-winning wines such as Muscat-Huxelrebe, and Late Harvest Riesling. Wine sampling and tours are offered daily from noon to 5 p.m.

This 30-acre vineyard produces smooth, aged wines such as Riesling, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Located just outside of Eugene, Chateau Lorane offers a beautiful panorama of the Coast Range foothills as well as their private 24-acre lake. This estate is also happy to accommodate up to 300 people for events such as weddings, receptions and business meetings.

This 820-acre estate is one of Oregon’s largest wine producers. Located just 20 minutes southwest of Eugene, this magnificent vineyard/winery offers a breathtaking view of Oregon’s majestic landscape. King Estate offers three premium wines including: Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. They are open for tours and wine sampling daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day, noon to 5 p.m.; and Labor Day to Memorial Day on weekends, from noon to 5 p.m. and by appointment.
