		<description>Matt, you make a good point. The fact that I don&#039;t really think it&#039;s a great idea to travel the same old tourist circuit through Thailand doesn&#039;t exclude banana pancakes from being tasty-- they are.  But, they&#039;re also a sign of just how much Thailand&#039;s culture has had to bend to satisfy us (the western backpacker). That&#039;s their right of course, being that they have a free market economy but it&#039;s also ironic because most backpackers are hunting for new, exciting, unique experiences and those are tough to find when sticking to the Lonely Planet route.</description>
