It was a really nice place... the people don't smile much but I think once you get talking to them they are very friendly. Unfortunately they are suffering from a major recession at the moment and maybe the reason why many of the bars and clubs were quite quiet. I stayed in the Naughty Squirrel Backpackers, one of the best hostels I've stayed in around the world.... and I'll stay in many! Thanks, Paul @ TravMonkey.com I went to Riga a few months ago.
