I have had puffer fish at a local restaurant (the chef made it for his mentor and gave me some, since I was the crazy white guy regular). It was “so what?”. I had snake wine in China and it was good! It had a stimulating effect. I did feel bad for the cobras in the bottle though. Eating live octopus is barbaric, no question. Octopi are the most intelligent invertebrates, about like a human toddler. Kind of pisses me off.
