Christchurch, New Zealand – July 1999

Hi there everyone, from Christchurch!

This month, I have some cool things for you to enjoy reading about! This month is Adventure Month! With Skydiving, bungy-jumping, jet-boating

Paragliding

Phoenix Paragliding – 6 Sumnervale Drive, Christchurch

When it’s winter in the northern hemisphere, it’s summer in New Zealand. That means long sunny days, blue skys and lots of great scenic flying. New Zealand is now one of the world’s favorite travel destinations, and one of the great undiscovered flying destinations. Only in New Zealand you can enjoy coastal ridge soaring and mountain thermal flights on the same day!

Although it’s winter it’s still great weather for sailing I was able to soar for over an hour. For more info try their home page. I got an answer the same day I emailed them when I made my booking. Prices start at $80 and go to $150.
