Wildlife Extravaganza in Western Australia ( 14/14 )

DAY 15 ~ Sunday, 4th July ~ Last day

Slowly and without too much stress, we got organised and packed. Sadly, we headed for our last paddle in the Indian Ocean – walked along the beach, looking in rock pools and watching the ‘Brown Boobies’ diving for fish – spectacular birds!

We had to return the van. Like snails, it had been our mobile home for the last two weeks, and then got a taxi to the airport. We hoped that one day we could get back, and maybe do the same thing but from Broome to Darwin. It had been a fantastic adventure, such a variety of things that we’d seen and done, got lost in gorges, swam in icy pools, drove on the beach and had a veritable feast of wildlife encounters!

And so our amazing holiday was over!
