Wildlife Extravaganza in Western Australia ( 7/14 )DAY 8 ~ Sunday
Having had enough of ‘civilization’ we headed up to Cape Range, where it was more wild and there were campsites that were au naturel! On the road to Exmouth we discovered that we had a sizeable chip in our windscreen and that the crack was spreading. So we thought we ought [...]

It was time to move on again. Sadly we missed the first ’round’ of dolphins but didn’t want to leave until we’d said ‘goodbye’. They eventually came about 10.30 and we said our farewells before we hit the road.

We had to return [...]
DAY 14 ~ Saturday
Well, we decided that we would just have to take it easy and relax today. Ian fulfilled his dream and we had a four-wheel drive along Cable Beach. It took us about half an hour to figure out to get the damn thing into 4 wheel drive mode!
After a few [...]

It was another cold and windy night, bbbrrrrr! We had a refreshing walk on the beach before we headed off for the last leg of our journey to Broome! This was by far the dullest of all the drives. The only highlight was when we passed some pools by the roadside [...]
