Between classes and interning, Molly hawks java at the U of O bookstore's Duckstop! coffee shop.

When Molly Pumper was a 21-year-old senior at the University of Oregon, back in Fall 2001, she became the newest edition to the BootsnAll staff. For 10 weeks she worked as an intern writing the Eugene Travel Guide.
Molly is majoring in magazine journalism and minoring in Spanish. She also loves traveling and hopes to work as a travel journalist after she graduates this spring. Ideally she'd like to find some kind of happy medium between National Geographic and Cosmo and write for that magazine.

While in Spain in July 2001, Molly stopped in Covadonga to drink from this fountain, which supposedly brings one a long, happy marriage. "Not that I want to get married anytime soon!" Molly hastens to add.
|
Molly has lived in Minnesota, California and Oregon, and has traveled extensively throughout the United States. She has also journeyed to Mexico and Canada and spent this past July studying abroad in Spain. But out of everywhere that she has been, she admits that Hawaii still ranks as her favorite travel destination.
As for now however, any travel adventures that she has in mind must come to a halt while she concentrates on finishing school and enjoying her last year as a college student in Eugene.
Words to live by: "Happiness lies beyond the comfort and the immediate."
Travel advice: "Don't get too crazy at bars and clubs in foreign countries or you just might wind up in a hospital where you don't speak the language. Trust me. I broke my knee in Mexico."
