My Hometown

Travel loversĀ focus on and talk about our travels all the time because, well, we love to travel! But we all have a hometown, regardless of whether or not we’ve actually been in that town or city in a while. And each our hometowns usually has something to offer other travelers who have never been there.

Festivals and Travel

A massive benefit on long-term travel is having the time to really dig into another culture, and there is no better way to dig into a culture than attending a festival.

The more I read and hear about people traveling solo around the world, the more I want to do it myself (just don’t tell my wife that).

Wildlife and Travel

When travelers come to us for help planning their RTW route, one suggestion we always make is to choose the pillars of your trip – the must-see destinations and experiences that you’ve been dreaming about.

Something that many travelers add to their pillars list has to do with wildlife – gorilla trekking, safaris, Amazon adventures, the Galapagos – just to name a few.
