Happy Thanksgiving Canada: It’s Food Week

It’s Food Week at BootsnAll! Sampling international cuisine is one of our favorite parts of travel. But even if you don’t consider yourself a foodie, you’ll appreciate A Dish for All Seasons: What to Eat (and When to Eat it) Around the World.

Tuesday’s How I Travel feature, is about — food, glorious food — from Anthony Bourdain to Top Chef winners! Later in the week, we’ll drool over street foods that rock and check in on the McDonald’s McCulture debate. So Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends, and a little reminder to our fellow Americans that it’s about time to start planning for Thanksgiving travel. Already? Yes.

What’s the most interesting food you’ve eaten while traveling? Roasted guinea pig? Cavier?

Thank you for the Thanksgiving greetings! Here’s a fall harvest soup from the award winning DesBarres Manor Inn in the Canadian Maritimes that combines sweet potatoes with delicious Nova Scotia maple syrup. Perfect for Thanksgiving dinners in Canada or the United States. Enjoy!
