Fort Tejon Shp Campground
Season for Peak Fees: 5/15 to 9/15Fort Tejon State Historic Park is the site of a fort established by theU.S. Army in 1854. The post is one of the significant remaining links totheearly American occupation period of California. The fort was designed toprotect Native Americans living on the Sebastian Indian Reservation.There arestored adobes from the original fort and the park's museum featuresexhibon army life and local history. The park also has a number of beautiful400year-old valley oak trees. The site also has living history events heldbyvolunteers in costume. Call the park for more information.
