Leo Carrillo Sp Campground
Season for Peak Fees: 03/01 to 11/30The beach was named after Leo Carrillo, a popular radio and TV performer,who also served on the State Park and Recreation Commission. He wasrelated by blood and marriage to a long line of distinguished originalCalifornians. The park has 1.5 miles of beach for swimming, surfing,wind-surfing, fishing and beachcombing. The beach also has tidepools,coastal caves and reefs for exploring. Nature walks and campfire programsare offered (call the park for schedules) and a small visitor center hasinterpretive displays. Giant sycamores shade the main campgrounds.The Park also features hiking upland.
