Lake Waramaug State Park consists of 95 acres and is located in Kent, CT. Scenically, few bodies of water in Connecticut can rival the picturesque setting of Lake Waramaug. When the vivid fall foliage is mirrored in the unrippled lake surface, the Park becomes a Mecca for both sightseers and photographers. Activities in the park include camping, swimming, picnicking, fishing, scuba diving, field sports, hiking ice skating, nature program and mountain biking. Services include picnic shelter, flush toilets, concession, drinking water and gravel/grass parking The campground offers 77 campsites along with flush toilets, showers, drinking water and dumping station.

From New Milford, follow the US Route 202 north to CT Route 45 north. Left onto North shore Road and follow signs around the lake to the park. From Torrington/Litchfield, follow US Route 202 South to CT Route 45 North. Right onto Route 45, left onto North Shore Road. Continue around lake to the park.
