Pavilion is approx. 1 1/2 miles up on the left at the Matthies Grove Recreation Area. From Rte 8: Take Route 44 east to Route 318 east in Barkhamsted. From Route 91: Take Route 20 west to Rte. 219 in West Ganby. Follow 219 to Rte318 in Barkhamsted. Go over the Saville dam. At the stop sign go left.
