Macedonia Brook State Park consists of 2,300 acres and is located in Kent CT. The park became the property of the State in 1918 through a gift from the White Memorial Foundation in Litchfield, CT. Two peaks within the park are near 1,400 feet in elevation and offer outstanding views of the Catskills and Taconic Mountains in New York State. Numerous springs and streams create a pleasurable experience for the nature oriented recreation seeker. Activities include stream fishing, camping, hiking, picnicking, field sports, cross-country skiing and historic area. Park services include picnic shelter, drinking water, gravel parking, outhouses and pay telephones. There is a vehicle charge for all vehicles that enter the park to use the pavilions. Buses require a special bus permit. To obtain a bus permit call 1-860-424-3200.

From the center of Kent (US Route 7), travel west on CT. Route 341 for 2 miles. Turn right onto Macedonia Brook Road and follow for two miles. Road surface will change to gravel. Picnic Shelter is on right.
