Lake Manatee Sp Campground
Lake Manatee State Park is a 556-acre park extending three miles along the south shore of Lake Manatee. This 2400-acre reservoir supplies the drinking water for Manatee and Sarasota counties. The park offers camping, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, a playground, and picnic area. A wide variety of plants and animals can be observed at the park. Fishing is excellent in Lake Manatee. Lake Manatee State Park is staffed 24 hours a day. The Ranger Station is staffed from 3pm to 5pm daily.
