At 16,600 acres, October Mountain is the largest state forest in Massachusetts. The Forest offers visitors a place to camp, hike and enjoy the outdoors while they visit Tanglewood and the many other cultural and scenic attractions of the central Berkshires. Forty-six campsites on a three tiered layout.

From the East or West: Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte.90) to Exit 2 (Lee). Turn right onto Rte. 20 west to Center St. in Lee. Follow the state forest signs to the Park. Entrance to park is approx 2 miles on the right.
