In a region full of rolling hills and mountain streams, Windsor State Forest stands out for the spectacular beauty of cascading falls at Windsor Jambs. Windsor Jambs Brook plunges through a 25-foot-wide gorge, with 80-foot-high perpendicular granite walls rising on either side. It is a beautiful and refreshing place to visit. Twenty-four limited service (no showers or flush toilets) campsites allow you to stay in the heart of this beautiful New England forest.

From the East: Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte 90) to Exit 4 (Rte. 91, Holyoke) Follow Rte. 91 North to Exit 19 and the intersection with Rte. 9 in Northampton. Follow Route 9 West to West Cummington: Turn right into the village of West Commington. Turn north on River Road, the Forest begins after 4 miles.

From the North and Rte. 116 Follow Rte 116 to the Town of Savoy. 1/2 mile east of the Town center turn south on River Road. Follow River Road three miles to the campground entrance on the left.
