Mongaup Pond Campground

Mongaup Pond Campground
Mongaup Pond offers a 120 acre lake with 50 sites located right on the lake. The campground is surrounded by Forest Preserve land with hiking, snowmobiling and horse trails. During the months of July and August there are Environmental Educational Recreation programs available. Wood and camping supplies are available from a peddler on a daily basis.

Route 17 to Exit 96 (Livingston Manor). Turn left (west) onto County Road 81/82. Travel 6 miles to Debruce. Turn left (at signs) on Mongaup Road/Fish Hatchery Road. It is about 3 miles to campsite. Bear right past Catskill Fish Hatchery and the entrance is near by. From Western NY. Take Rte 17 East to exit 96-Livingston Manor, at bottom of ramp, turn right, go 1 block, turn left, go 1 block turn left onto County Rte 81/82 (Debruce Rd). Go straight on Debruce Rd. for 5-6 miles, turn left at Fish Hatchery/Mongaup Rd. go 2 1/2 miles, turn right, campground 1 1/2 miles at end of road.
