Moffitt Beach Campground

Moffitt Beach campground is located in the central portion of the Adirondack Park on picturesque Sacandaga Lake. At an elevation of 1,730 feet above sea level, the area is generally flat and well wooded with large white pines and hardwoods to provide rustic camping ambience. Many of the sites are located on the waters edge. There is a boat launch which aides in the accessibility to Sacandaga Lakes fine fishing and water sport opportunities. This campground offers an Interpretive Activity Program, which provides a high quality organized recreational and educational awareness experience for both the camper and day user. The programs are provided daily through the months of July and August. Be sure to ask about our Junior Naturalist program for the younger camper.

Moffitt Beach is located off the New York State Thruway. Take exit 27 off the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) at Amsterdam. Go north on Route 30 to Speculator. Go west on Route 8 for approximately 1.5 miles then turn right on Page Street. It is 1 mile to campground.
