Taconic State Park (Rudd Pond) Campground

Reservation holder must be 18 years of age or older. Prior to the occupancy of reserved campsite the named holder reservation must be present and register with their photo ID and reservation number.No campsite may be sublet. Campers are asked to arrive by 9 p.m. on the first day of the reservation. If arriving after 9 p.m. please call the park to make other arrangements or risk losing the reservation. Quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. are strictly enforced. The campground is closed to all persons that are not already registered at the park by 10 p.m. Campers must have a tent to camp in tent area or have a trailer or RV to camp in trailer area. Tent platforms will accommodate free standing tents up to 14 feet by 16 feet. The maximum number of people per campsite is 6 including children. All campsites have a picnic table and fireplace with cooking grate. Campers with Dogs allowed on designated sites (23 thru 28) only. No more than two Dogs per site. Must be attended to and on a leash at all times. Proof of rabies inoculation is required. Swimming is allowed when lifeguards are on duty from 11am to 7pm.
