Wallowa Lake Campground
Wallowa Lake offers 89 tent campsites, one cabin, two yurts, and 121 RV sites with full utility hookups. The park offers showers, RV dumping station, evening program area, group tent facilities, group picnic facilities, laundry facilities and boat moorage.
There is a boat-launching ramp to Wallowa lake. Boats, motors and water sports equipment can be rented at the marina concession building.

Wild life: Feeding the deer or making contact in the State Park is a "Prohibited Activity" and subject to a fine of $97.00 under OAR #736-010-0045 (13). Due to the variety of wildlife, food should be kept in a hard-sided vehicle and garbage taken to the dumpster.

Make sure your site meets your camping needs!!

Before reserving, please become familiar with the particulars of your chosen site, including the size limits of the tent area and the type of camping equipment allowed. Site details and site sizes can be viewed online by clicking on the site name. A Large site has at least a 12'x12' tent area and Medium is 10' X 10' and Small is 8' X 8'.
Non Hook-up Sites: Due to the angle of sites and narrow roadways, motorhomes and trailers are limited in the non-hookup site areas. Some will state no motorhomes or trailers- watch for site length limits!! If you get to the Park and do not fit in the site you have reserved, we may not have a "cancellation" to replace your site and you may have to find other accommodations elsewhere.
Site lengths: When securing your reservation, please know the overall length of towing vehicle plus trailer or motorhome plus tow-behind vehicle to insure adequate site length to accommodate your camping unit. At the park we use 22 feet for truck length "plus" the trailer length to find workable accommodations for our visitors. Do not ignore the "site alert limitations" so that you secure the best site appropriate for your camping equipment.
Vehicles: Only one vehicle is allowed at the site and is included in the site price. Many parking pads at Wallowa Lake will not accommodate two vehicles. All extra vehicles must park in the day use area with a paid permit, unless booth staff have given permission otherwise. If you do not want to park extra vehicles in day use, you will need to purchase another site to accommodate it.

All extra vehicles are subject to fees of $5.00 per night.

Towed vehicles: If a motorhome is towing a vehicle, they must tow into the campground with a legal towing device (i.e. dolly, tow bar, hitch and ball or other inflexible device) to be considered "one unit" and qualify for exempt fees on the extra vehicle.
Boat and Utility trailers may have to park in day use if it causes a negative impact on park property or causes safety issues in the camp ground Starting in 2008 all boat and utility trailers with more than one axle must park on the pavement or park in day use.

All vehicles driven into the park are subject to fees.

Restrooms: Restroom parking is for paid showers only. Extra vehicles are not allowed to park in this area; they must park in day use with a paid permit.

Do not ignore the site alerts!!! No generators allowed.

Pets: Pets must be kept on a 6' leash at all times. They are not allowed in the shower or restroom buildings. Please clean up after them and never leave them unattended. Starting 2007, no pets are allowed in or on the grounds of the Yurt or Cabin site areas. The Park does not have facilities to kennel pets. While staying in the Yurts or Cabin, please make arrangements to leave your pet at home or in a private kennel.
< Dump Station: Please do not dump a full holding tank into the campsite connection. It may overflow. Use the dump station located past the registration booth for your convenience.
Generators: Use of Generators is not allowed. Campers with medical needs should reserve a full hookup site. For medical situations Management may approve limited use of a generator (off site) in a designated area.
