Lake Whitney State Park Campground
$3 per day, per person 13 and older.
$2 per day, per person Texas residents 65 on 9/1/95 or after.
Entrance fees are in addition to campsite or day use facility fees.
An excess vehicle fee will be charged for all vehicles over the limit of 2 per site.
Park contains 50 X 2000 linear foot paved landing-strip & a 50 X 3200 linear foot taxi way. (Must pay entrance fees if flying in).
$6 per person, per day to sleep under the plane.
Tie downs for airplanes available.

From Dallas/Ft Worth: Take I-35 South to Hillsboro. Exit #370 at Hwy 77 to downtown Hillsboro. Turn right at Hwy 22 West. Go through Whitney for 2 or 3 miles. Turn right at light, on Hwy 933 North for 1\2 mile. Turn left on FM 1244, dead-ends at park.
From Austin: Take I 35 North to Waco. Exit on LAKE SHORE DRIVE. Turn left, to Hwy 933 North and turn right. Stay on Hwy 933 to 1/2 mile North of Hwy 22. Turn left on FM 1244 to the park.
