Rib Mountain State Park Campground
This billion-year-old hill is one of the oldest geologic formations on earth. The top of the 60-foot observation tower offers spectacular views.Downhill skiing and snowshoe trails are available in the winter.

Rib Mountain State Park is located just west of the city of Wausau. Exit Hwy 51/39 to Cty Hwy N (Exit 188). Drive west 1/3 mile to Park Road. Proceed straight through traffic lights follow it up the mountain 1.7 miles to the contact station.
