The French name refers to the 300-foot-high rock outcropping that is the central feature of this quiet park. Climb the stairway to the top for a panoramic view of the area. Native American petroglyphs and a wayside exhibit can also be viewed. Roche-A-Cri State Park's campground presents a very attractive and quiet setting. The campground is mostly shady with large trees. Pit toilets have lights at night.
