Get a Seat Without a Reservation

If you want to get a seat and you don't have a reservation, be on the platform early, and be ready to board the minute that you can. Make sure you don't sit in a place that is held for someone further down the line! Conversely, if you are getting off the train before the stop that it is reserved, it's all right to take a seat.
