| What I liked about it | It all depends on the people you get stuck with, of course, but this place had the friendliest, nicest people of all the places I stayed. All other hostels should take a lesson from San Jordi -- the host sets the mood for the entire place. The lovely woman in charge of this hostel is very social and encourages a friendly, lively atmosphere that is still respectful and quiet in the bedroom areas. I only stayed one night due to booking issues, but came back a couple of times just to have dinner with everyone! Very nice, free internet, little balconies that look out onto Arago street (not much to see but it's nice to have the balconies), small but comfortable common area. Big closets for your bags but no locks...however the place is so intimate you don't feel like you'll lose anything. |
| What I didn't like about it | If you're a butthead and don't have the maturity to respect others (clean up after yourself, be quiet in the rooms, don't trash the place), don't stay here. The feel is very small and intimate, and you'll ruin the vibe for everyone else. The one knock on this place? the bathrooms suck. |
| What was the staff like | Awesome |
| Would I stay there again | Yes |
| Overall Vibe and Opinion | It's quaint. It's chill. It's social in an "all ages" sort of way. This is not a party hostel, it's a "let's get together, make dinner together and go out for drinks" hostel. I met the greatest people here...out of 20 days in Europe, my fondest memories are of them. |
